Process mode of fiber laser cutting machine:

1. Vaporization cutting mode

Under the high power density of laser beam heating, the speed of the material surface temperature to the boiling point temperature fast, enough to avoid melting caused by heat conduction, so part of the material vaporized into steam, part of the material as the ejecta from bottom of kerf is auxiliary gas flow blown away.

2. Melting cutting mode

When the power density of the incoming laser beam exceeds a certain value, the material inside the beam is evaporating to form a hole. Once the hole is formed, it absorbs all the incoming beam energy as a black body. The holes are surrounded by molten metal walls and then the auxiliary airflow of the coaxial beam takes away the molten material around the hole. As the workpiece moves, the hole is synchronized across the cutting direction to form a slit. The laser beam continues along the edge of the seam, and the melting material continues or pulsating through the cracks.

3. Melting and cutting mode of oxidation

Melt cutting generally use inert gases, if replaced with oxygen or other reactive gas, was lit materials under the irradiation of laser beam, and the chemical reaction of oxygen violent and produce another source of heat, called oxidation melting cutting.

If you choose to enter at the time of cutting, it will result in:

(1) the melting condition can be caused and the cutting surface is rough.

(2) it can cause the slit to widen and the entire melting in the sharp corner.

(3) the efficiency of cutting can be seriously affected.
